Lost or Found

Ara

I shook my white pelt as I bathed in the sun's rays. My coat shined radiantly any other creature might have mistaken me as a ghost. I yawned exopsig my long sharp fangs and my soft pink tongue curled then I clamped my jaw shut.

I silently padded on, my white delicate paws with utter most care took soft gentle steps, staying clear of scattered debris, such as twigs, they always scared away prey and brokethe gentle silence.

My ears were flattened against my crania as I quietly trotted towards some shelter, hoping to find some prey. As I thought about a plan to catch prey I couldn't help but admire my surroundings, I dare didn't speak as the silence suited the beauty.

My harks pricked as I heard a rustle of plants. I froze with my head held high and muscles tensed. I smelt the air and smelled the familiar scent of rabbit. Rabbit wouldn't satisfy me for two weeks but it would provide me at least three days without any other food.

Like a ghost, I silently slinked into some nearby bushes and moved closer to the mouth-watering scent. I stopped as I saw tan. It was the rabbit. It looked quite small, probably yearlng but that meant the meat would be more tender. The thought made my mouth water and saliva slowly slid down my maw and I quicky wiped it with my front paw.

Gross!

My tail gently swayed as I watched my meal. It was happily eating away at some grass, standing on it's rear legs completely oblivios to my presensce.

Good...

I built power in my hind legs as I became ready to lunge, my tip of my white bush twitched, which always meant I was about to attack, then like a jack in the box, I lunged and snapped at the creature's neck. It was a horrid sound, the frightened scream of a terrified rabbit but it ended quickly.

After my meal I was satisfied, for now. Blood was stained on my slender white muzzle making it deep red. I licked the blood away enjoying the taste.

My sensors flicked and I trotted towards the sound of a rushing river. It was beautiful.

I dipped my maw in and started washing away the bood leaving it tinged soft pink. After my muzzle wash was done I started drinking the precious cool liquid lik as if I hadn't drank in weeks.

My tail swayed gently to the breeze as I enjoyed the feel of the cool liquid running down my throat.

After my drink was done I was left bloated and sleepy.

I padded softly towards a tree and gracefully laid down and scanned my area. This was the Adobe, the place where you could find a home and I was here just for that reason.

Here you could be found and have a loving home, or you could stay a loner and be lost for a long unhappy life. I wanted to be found not lost.

With that thought I laid my white head down and slowly closed my icy orbs.

Let me be found.....let me be found.....

Tundra

i walked into the land...it was warm or so i thought i was always warm in my skin...but as mist i was cold...i sighed and turned to my mist self...i was now cold i shook my fur for i was not in my full mist self at this point...i walked/flew on the plains...i turned to the full mist as i watched this new wolf...she ran across the land...swift on her feet...she stopped and looked at the land...knowing she was not able to see me i kept watching...then she took launched into the air bring down some prey..i came up behind her i stopped for i did not wish to scare her...i smiled and became myself again..."hello there"i said...i watched her...and waited for her reply...

My heart lurched and my head snapped around to see a he-wolf. How had I not smelled him? My icy orbs narrowed and leaped away from him. I slowly stepped backward towards some water. My orbs opened fully as I inspected the newcomer.

I bowed my head curtly, "Hello," I replied. My head tilted a little at the sudden mysetrious sight of the male wolf. He was watching me and that unnerved me even more.

My white tail gently swayed to the breeze but my muscles were tense. He seemed nice though, he had greeted me in a friendly way so he didn't seem to be no harm.

I stepped a little closer inspecting his smell. He was almost scentless but I could smell some traces of pine and earth. That was odd....

My wings spread as I inspected him closely. I tilted my head and stepped silently backwards again.

"My name's Ara, what's yours?" I spoke to him with my mind and I let a smile crawl onto my lips to see his reaction. My bush was wagging a little by now.

i smiled at her...i then felt a pull towards her...i could not control my actions no longer...This was her...my other half...'i must have her' i thought...i smiled as she inspected me...I mean you no harm ... i spoke... softly as not so frighten her even more...i smiled when she smelled me as if i had little if any sent but the musky woods of my home...i sighed and then i got her name it was not spoken but said...i smiled I see you have a version of telepathy...Astral Projection of the thoughts? i guessed then sighed wile i can turn to a white mist... i quickly turned to my mist self...i was cold again...i turned back to my wolf self...i was warming as we spoke further...i looked down to her kill...Don't mind me...you may keep eating...i smiled and then her sent caught me...she smelled of the kill and wild flowers...Do you have a home...if not you are welcome to come live with me...

The he-wolf only smiled as I had inspected him and his words were powerful and fluid and it made me oddly shudder. My harks flattened against my skull as I looked into his handsome face. My icy orbs bore into his own optics.

"Yes, you do seem to be no harm," I whispered as my ears pricked and my tail slowly lifted. I spread my wings a little then folded them back again onto my white back.

He smiled as he got my telepathic message. It was odd, others seemd to think it was a ghost talking to them. I almost chuckled at that, but this he-wolf was still calm about and seemed to like my power.

"Yes, my power is telepathy, yes projection from my mind to yours, very hard to explain the whold process but easy to do," I murmered softly. It was calm having this he-wolf near me and I found him quite attractive. What was I thinking? I shook my crania and looked on, hoping I wasn't blushing, blushing was quite noticable, especially thanks to my white cheeks.

My white sensors pricked as I listened about his power. I watched with vast curiosity and fascination as the he-wolf turned to a white mist before my icy orbs and back to his wolf form.

"Wow, that's very...fascinating," I whispered soflty, my optics quite wide. I watched as he looked down and I did the same to see my kill laying on the earth floor.

My tail swayed and I smiled warmly.

"Nah, it's ok, I'm already full," I nudged the carcass towards the he-wolf with my slender white muzzle, "You can have some if you like."

My smile widened as he talkd about a home.

"No I do not have a home," I nodded my head unable to surpress my grin, " I would love to live with you." I could almost feel a warm aura around me...happiness. I had been found. My white bush wagged and I spread my snow white wings.

"Pardon me, but, I didn't catch your name," I tilted my head at the stunning he-wolf admiring his handsome looks. "May I be able to know it?" My tail was gently swaying and I sat my rump down onto the cool earth floor and folded my wings onto my back. By now all my muscles were relaxed.

I couldn't help but feel the warm feeling I was having around this he-wolf. It was almost a pull, like we were meant to be together. I always heard of soulmates but I always thought that was just a myth, till now I believed it.......

I smiled as she fidgeted at first and then calmed i nodded "good then let us go... then" i looked into her eyes...they where her eyes the one i longed to find..i hoped she had felt the pull to but i was not sure..Yes of course how rude of me...my name is Tundra...i smiled as she sat her rump down on the earth...for i was happy and calm at the same time...i wanted to jump into the air...for i had found her...i looked to her...i then took a step to her...i was wondering if you would not mind becoming immortal with me? i felt me tail wag at the thought of being with her forever... i waited for her answer my nerves getting more hyper as i waited...i wished i could fly with her...but i had not wings...i sighed and watched her...

My icy orbs just looked into the he-wolf's eyes as I drowned in them and my sensors happily picked up everything he said. I smiled at him and felt warmer and somewhat light, almost like a feather. I had never felt this before.

I fluidly gotonto my four long thin pillars an waged my tail.

"Pleasure meeting you, Tundra," I bowed with a grin plastered onto my face. I liked his name.
As I looked into his eyes, Tundra's eyes my heart felt like it was getting pulled towards him. I guess the stupid soulmate principal was true, it was an emtion that was hard to ignore.

I watched as he took a step towards me and I stood frozen to the same spot. I listened as he aske to me to become immortal with him. I pondered on the thought. Being together with Tundra sounded very appealing and that was the only one I was thinking about...Tundra.

"Yes, I would like to be immortal with you," I said softly wagging my white bush behind me. A warm smile lit up my lips as I looked at my soulmate, Tundra.

All of a sudden I stopped wagging and tilted my head.

"Tundra, do you believ in soulmates?" The question was stupid but it already had been said, in the mind really. I just waited to see Tundra's reaction. Hoping he wouldn't think I was crazy or something.

i smiled when she said she would become an immortal with me...thank you...and yes i do believe in soul mates...for they are what help us though our lives...i believe that is why we have meet today...i will meet you at my land...i have not named it yet...i will let my queen decide what to name our land... i smiled and began to walk away i was not able to...i turned back to her...you must come with me now for i can not be apart form my queen here...nor ever...surly you must feel the pull as well... i smiled i had found my soul mate...and i now she knew that i felt the pull i only hoped she felt it to...i smiled and i could feel my heart soar for i had found her and she had found me at last...my tail swayed with anticipation for her answer...but somehow i was able to keep my cool...i walked to her side as our fur touched i felt a soft warmth grow among my body...i smiled and put my head under hersShall we go? i asked and smiled i sat there in wait beside her...

I felt myself go warm with...love and let myself get pulled closer to Tundra as admitted he believed in soulmates.

"I never believed in it till now," I breathed softly, " Now I do believe." My heart seemed to skip a beat andwarmth always spread through me as I looked into my soulmates eyes.

I nodded in agreement as he reasoned that was why we had met. My heart almost flew out of my white smooth chest when my love said I would be queen. I let myself blush and smile a little.

I watched as he tried to walk away and every step he took away from me I felt a sudden rush to leap over and walk beside him, he must have felt the same feeling too because he turned around and was beside me.

Our pelts touched and I felt electricity shoot through my spine and over my whole body as it turned into warmth.

"I surely feel the pull," I whispered with a smile as I looked into Tundra's optics.

Another electricity shot shook through my body when my soulmate put his head under mine.

My tail wagged, and I smiled. I nuzzled my love's boa and flattened my harks against my crania and I let myself smile. I looked back up to my soulmate's optics.

"Yes, we should go," I came over and nuzzled him again and gently closed my sky blue orbs, allowing the smell of his pelt to enter my nose, "I love you...."

i smiled at her...ok then lets go... i could fell her pelt beside me then i heard her say in my mind 'love you' i smiled and huged her...i was instently filled with warmth...I love you two.......she was warm along side me i was warm as well...i was filled with warmth when i looked into her soft sky blue optics... i began to walk...with her beside me...i smiled at her...Would you to become immortal first or after we go home? my tail high in the air for i was proud to have her by my side... i smiled at her in wait for her reply...i licked her muzzle i felt a small shock as i did so but i did not care...for she was there in being with me...i wondered could our powers be shared? could my power reach out to her where she would become mist along with myself... and her power do the same for me? i then turned to mist and looked to her...i smiled at her...and then walked away a few steps but found it was a strain to stay away form her... i quickly walked back...i felt hole again...i knew now and forever she would have to be by my side we must become immortal before went go home... i nodded to her for we where going to the immortals then to my home...

Ara

My heart leaped when I herd my soulmate announce his love to me. I just nuzzled him more.

I felt warm with his pelt against mine and I enjoyed the feeling. The feeling made me feel complete. I drowned in my lover's beutiful orbs as my own looked into his.

I walked slowly besie Tundra, with our coats still touching. He smiled at him and I gave him a warm smile back.

I pondered on his question......

"How about immortality first?" I tilted my head and my harks pricked. Tundra's tail was up high and so was mine. My wings were a little spread out as I waited for his response.

Being alone without Tundra was dreadful and everytime he stepped away from me I felt th hole in my chest get bigger, there was no choice to become immortal, if that was the only way to be with the love of my life, I would do it.

I blinked as Tundra stretched over and licked my muzzle. I felt a sudden shock which turned into warmmth and spread over my body like a wildfire. I slowly wagged my tail and licked his own muzzle and smiled warmly at him, my sky blue orbs shining with love and admiration.

I blinked and watched with newfound fascination as Tundra turned into mist before my very eyes and slowly started drifting away. It hurt my heart and he must have felt it too because he returned quickly.

I wagged my white bush and licked his muzzle to show how happy I was with him by my side.

He nodded to me and I realized what we were doing. I nodded back curtly and trailed after him.

I would be with my soulmate forever....
